A rigid militaristic kingdom whose motto is: "Triumph through discipline." The Woven Expanse lives by the letter of the law. When flying through Woven space make sure to have your credentials at the ready and a clean cargo space.

History

After the Immortal King died, his Immortal Star Realms split into two factions, one of them being the Woven Expanse. One of the king's twin heirs, Arris, lead the Woven Expanse with an Iron Fist, militarizing the planets and launching a full scale attack against the Emancipated Star Realms. When both twins died simultaneously each side blamed the other. The Great Schism came to a short stand still while the realms wept for their Kings. General Mrogden, always known as the "brother" to the Immortal King, claimed himself as heir to the kingdom. The Great Schism War officially reignited as the Emancipated Star Realms believed no one could make such a claim. Rallying behind their new king the Woven Expanse went on the offensive, claiming their rights to the entirety of the Immortal Star Realms. Even with their military prowess and superior forces, the Woven expanse hasn't been able to take any of the Emancipated Star Realm systems. Keeping both sides in stalemate.

Military

W.E.(Woven Expanse) forces are lead by a group of Lords known as the I.O. or the Immortal Order with it's head being Arch-Lord Raveen. The other Lord's of the Order go by the title of Order Lord. Being a member of the I.O. requires significant physical sacrifice through technological and magical augmentation, turning its lords into living weapons. Lords, being famously hard to kill, on account of their environmental suits and body modifications. You may destroy the ship, its commander however, is not a guarantee. This gives the Woven an unparalleled continuity of strategy and leadership strength. The life changing and often painful modifications that the Immortal Order endure is a "bridge too far" for the comparatively "soft" noble command of the Emancipated Star Realms.

The Fleet

The Fleets of the Woven are lead by the I.O. with each Order Lord being in command of their own Herald Class Star Cruiser with the Arch-Lord in command of the fleet's Command Ship "The Valient."

Culture

Culturally the Woven are known to be more stagnant with very little upward mobility. Despite the meritocratic structure and propaganda of their forces their culture has lagged for some centuries behind the Neutral Zone and the E.S.R.

Star Realms

The Woven rule over four Star Realms of the old empire that was including most of the centralized realms of Selany, Bromnir and Iron Sanctum but also holding strong to one of the outer star realms known as Silverfold.
